I was lucky enough to take a few pictures of the team at the gorgeous Salon Bela.

They just moved their salon and it's unbelievable! You definitely have to check it out. The best part--these photos were taken right inside the salon!

These are my last couple of posts on this blog until we swith to adore photography! I'll keep a link on my new blog to this one so you can still see my old work, don't worry. Here are some great family shoots I just did...trying to stay caught up!

NEWS!

I have some major news! We're all getting a Christmas present (yay!)...but you get to find out about it now!

This is something that has been in the works for quite a while
Much planning, thought, and preparation has gone into it
And I'm feeling extremely, completely, entirely excited about it

Okay, okay, what is it already? (gosh, you guys are like 5 year-olds on Christmas Eve!)

Kayleigh Marie Photography will be changing names!

Get really excited for...


I've probably never been more excited about something in my life. Okay, maybe my wedding, but that's it. And it's close.

Now for the answers.
Why would I change names now? Well, I have a few reasons, and I think they're pretty legitimate ones. Here you go.

#1  As you have noticed, I change the header on my blog every 5 minutes. I've never been quite satisfied with it. I feel absolutely satisfied with adore photography & my new logo.

#2  I want people to be able to search my photography. Believe me, I completely LOVE my name, but I'll be the first to admit it isn't the easiest to spell.  Adore=simplicity.

#3  There aren't 500,000 adore photographys. Ever looked up bella photography? I believe there are 300 of them.

#4  I LOVE the meaning.
      adore. verb. 1) To regard with deep, often rapturous love. 2) To like very much.

My number one goal in photography is to capture the people and life that you regard with deep, often rapturous love. I want my pictures to show what you "like very much" :)

#5  But Kayleigh, won't people think it sounds like a-door photography? Maybe. Who cares? "A door" photography wouldn't be bad, either. It's just crazy enough that people might remember it.

#6 (and final) I feel like everyone is using their first and middle name for their photography business. Everyone. There isn't anything wrong with that, I happen to like my first and middle names very much. However, I'm all about simplicity. And standing out just enough that people will remember me. Sound good?

A while ago, my elementary friend and I got together for pictures. It was so great to catch up and take pictures of each other (she's a photographer too!). Sorry it's taken a while to get these up here!
